
1-WEEK REFRESHER COURSE – 12 Hours of Training
The students will have 4 hours of Driving Instruction, 4 hours of Backing Instruction, along with 4 hours of Truck Lab.


3 WEEK CLASS B CDL COURSE – 36 Hours of Training
The students will have 6 hours of Driving Instruction, 5 hours of Classroom Instruction, 6 hours of Backing Instruction, along with 6 hours of Road Observation, 10 hours of Truck Lab, and 3 hours of Simulations.
4 WEEK CLASS A CDL COURSE – 48 Hours of Training
The students will have 10 hours of Driving Instruction, 10 hours of Classroom Instruction, 10 hours of Backing Instruction, along with 4 hours of Road Observation, 10 hours of Truck Lab, and 4 hours of Simulations.

TRUCK LAB
Students will observe and learn hands-on how to perform a complete vehicle inspection, troubleshooting and maintenance, tire chaining, coupling and uncoupling, fifth wheel, and tandem axle sliding procedures

BACKING INSTRUCTION
Students will learn hands-on how to L-Back, straight back, off-set back, and dock a tractor-trailer combination vehicle. These procedures are a one-student-to-one-instructor ratio.

CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION
In the classroom, students will be instructed and tested on all endorsements, map reading, logbooks, truck and trailer parts, and safe driving techniques, among various other skills. Students are issued a 35 chapter Tractor-Trailer training manual complete with tests at the end of each chapter. They will also complete 35 instructional and safety videos, some require tests immediately following the video. A 2-hour seminar will be instructed by "Operation Lifesaver" regarding Railroad rail grade crossings safety.

DRIVING INSTRUCTION
Driving instruction is hands-on driving in various road conditions and situations. This includes driving on the interstate, city and country roads, and grades. Students will learn the entering and exiting procedures of DOT scales. In addition, they will visit and observe DOT scale personnel and their role in the transportation industry.

Simulator
The cutting-edge simulator provides an immersive virtual environment for practicing semi-truck driving. This software serves as a valuable tool for individuals seeking to obtain a CDL, offering realistic training experiences. Moreover, it aids in instructing new students and evaluating their skills prior to hands-on experience with an actual semi-truck.

Study Assistance
Top Gun offers study assistance for individuals preparing for their Class A permit exams. Our study assistance is accessible Monday through Thursday, from 7am to 5pm, at no cost. We provide a quiet study environment equipped with laptops featuring presentations. Our knowledgeable instructors are available to address any questions related to the permit exam content. Additionally, we offer access to a cutting-edge virtual simulator, allowing individuals seeking to obtain a CDL familiarize themselves with the driving experience.

Hazmat Course – 3 Hours of Training
The student will have 1 hour of Driving Instruction and 2 hours of Classroom Instruction.
